The Mets once again didn’t have it tonight. It led off with Carlos Carrasco giving a homer in the 1st inning, and then tieing it on a Alonso homer, only to give it up in the 8th inning with a Lugo loss. And they had the chance to pull it out in the bottom of the 8th, but Jeff Mc Neil made the 3rd out with the bases loaded. With time running out, the Mets have to find ways to win these close games.
