The Mets unbeaten series streak ended today, as Drew Smith gave up the winning runs, and Pete Alonso failed to deliver a hit with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 9th to spike a rally. there was ups and downs in todays game. Carlos Carrasco was uncomfortable and inconsistant, and the hitting was too. There was excitement in the 7th inning when back to back triple by J.D. Davis and Brandon Nimmo tied the score. down in the 9th inning the tried but fell short.
