Live music is back and in full swing!!
On Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2021, Melissa Etheridge graced the stage at the Paramount Theatre 370 New York Ave ,
Huntington, NY 11743 (631-673-7300 0Https://paramountny.com. The Paramount is a premiere venue showcasing popular music and comedy performers. It is all supported by a top shelf sound system that does not disappoint. The beautiful decor is industrial with a NYC vibe. It houses 3 bars and offers an attached eatery “The Spotlight” with an equally cool vibe.

Melissa’s new album ,’ One way out’, is a full of souls, blues and pure rock and roll. Her message is a simple, yet deep one. Love yourself first, treat yourself well. 17 years after her battle with cancer ,she appears happy, healthy and full of joy. She is grateful to be performing live again, and her fans are equally thrilled to have her back.
There was a great exchange of good energy in that room this night.
She started her set with the title track of her new album “One Way Out” and immediately pulled the crowd in with a thunderous rock groove. Her voice was gritty, raspy, full of soul and at times as soft as velvet. The mix of material covered her carreer. She explained that many tracks on her new album are really older writings that never made onto other releases. We are so lucky that they are here now. Her delivery of “Chrome Plated Heart”919890, included a riveting, pounding guitar solo that just shined. Melissa’s harmonica playing blew us away as well. she has serious skills,,,
Melissa Etheridge has the stage presence of an icon .Her powerful vocals .accomplished musical skills, engaging story telling and tight backup band are well worth checking out. I believe every one left the Paramount smiling, feeling really good and wanting more. Thank You! Sweet Melissa!
