BREAKING NEWS – Fatal MVA on the Southern State Parkway. By Toni Hoyos, The New York Extra, the NYExtra.com

Police are investigating a fatal motor vehicle accident that happened at approximately 9:27am on the Southern State Parkway, just east of the Bethpage Park Highway in South Farmingdale. A small SUV travelling westbound rear ended a Mercedes, spun out of control and it appears without braking, crashed into the overpass bursting into flames killing occupant. As of yet it is unknown if the occupant is a male or female. As per police, no further information available at this time.
