The Mets won the game of a day/night doubleheader today on strong pitching and timely hitting. Trevor Williams pitched shutout baseball, followed by Reed, Lugo, Smith and Diaz. The only slight glitch was a homer by Paul Goldschmidt in the 8th inning let up by Smith. Hitting by Lindor, Mc Neil and Dom Smith supplied the offense.
