Late this afternoon, NCPD,Rockville Centre pd, and other agencies, responded to repoerts of a man who went into the lake at Hempstead State Park and did not surface, as per multiple people on the scene. A water search , complete with dive and rescue teams located the man and removed him from the lake. His condition, name and other details are not available at this time.
