A 30 yr old male walking his dog was struck and killed on Merrick Rd and Forest Ave ,Massapequa,NY last night at appox 800pm. Both the male and his dog were killed. The driver of the the car, a white Jeep, did not leave the scene, and was not charged. Names of both the deceased and the driver have not been released. All information as per release by NCPD Friday morning.
